FEATURING PANCAKES AND CATS

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm going to be doing a slightly different type of post, where I share with you some apps that I've recently been playing on my phone! I've also managed to make my own gifs for the first time! ! ^-^ 

In particular these apps are games and pretty simple to play which makes them perfect for times when you're waiting for an appointment or bored during your public transport travels.

Let's get started!

Pancake Tower

The name explains everything! This app by Takahiro Ota is great for when you want to waste a bit of time but don't exactly want to commit yourself to beating the high score over and over again. The faces made by the pancakes are pretty amusing and the simplistic design makes it easily playable for anyone.

Hot Ham Tower

If you played Pancake Tower and you're feeling like you're not being challenged enough... well then you can try out Hot Ham tower!

 This is by HappyMeal Inc. and features the same premise of pancake stacking but the developers have added "challenge" mode and "toppings" where you have to flip the pancake as high as possible. The sound effects of this app are so cute, the pancakes make a "hotchu" noise when they are flipped and can get themselves burned if left in the pan for too long! 
This game is a cuter alternative to the previous "Pancake Tower".

Nekonoke ~Cat Collector~

Remember Nintendogs? 
Nekonoke is a game where you look after a cat by tapping on him/her to brush their fur. There are a wide variety of cats to be unlocked within the game and each cat has it's own personality. 
It's relaxing to play and to sweep away the fur balls which is used as currency in the game. 
By collecting fur balls you can make items to decorate the room and level up your cats so there is an addictive element to this game!

Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector

This game  by Hit-Point Co. is similar to nekonoke, since both are about collecting cats. This game is more ideal for you if you prefer more complex pretty cool as you decorate your own back garden in an attempt to attract cats. 

This is a game where you can leave it idle and discover that cats have been to visit and for those that are already present... you can take a snapshot of them for your own personal cat diary!

Rolling Animals

Another game by Takahiro Ota, which is about rolling a dog through 
the use of finger swipes to reach his goal. The chicks and ladders make for obstacles through the hills which get more complex with each stage!
The music for this game is jazzy which is cool and certainly builds up the feeling of pressure to complete each level! I personally found this game to be the hardest of them all and repetitive.
